There are many types of communication, but as it is asked about the differences between personal communication of mass communication, the answer is as follows.

 

Personal Communication is something between two people at a time. The individuals can be teacher or student, Mother or daughter e.t.c. This way of Communication remains between two-person, and one can easily encode and decode the message quickly.

Personal Communication is between person to person, and it is the necessary Communication between two people making man a social animal. Added to this various communication mediums like E-mails, SMSs, telephone and mobile phone facilities help humans to have personal communication with their peers.

Mass Communication involves a massive amount of people during Communication. For example, a politician is addressing an election rally, A motivational class e.t.c.In Mass Communication, we don’t get the feedback from the audience, so at times it becomes difficult to understand the mood of the public.

Mass Communication is the medium which provides entertainment as well as creates awareness among the masses. It includes radio, television, newspapers, magazines, books, films etc.
